What are Book credits?

Book credits pay for AI work inside Book Workspace. A blueprint costs 10 credits, generated prose and rewrites cost 1 credit per started 50 words, and a successful AI cover costs 30 credits.

How many credits does a 5,000-word short book use?

About 110 credits for the blueprint and manuscript, or 140 credits with one generated cover. Additional AI rewrites use credits according to their generated length.

Do editing, failed attempts, or exports use credits?

Manual editing, reorganizing, saving, and failed AI attempts cost 0 credits. Kindle upload kit downloads do not spend credits, but download access requires an active subscription or a Credit Pack purchase.

Are the page estimates the same as Kindle pages?

No. We estimate one manuscript page at 250 generated words so plans are easier to compare. Kindle eBooks are reflowable, so the visible page count changes with the reader's device and font settings. Validate the exported EPUB in Kindle Previewer before publishing.

Can I purchase a plan today?
