How account, creative, safety, Library, and payment information is handled when you use FablePilot.

Effective date: August 12, 2026

1

Information We Collect

FablePilot requires Google sign-in before AI generation. When you sign in, we receive account information made available by Google, such as your account identifier, name, email address, email verification status, and profile image. We store the account and session records needed to authenticate you.

We also process the prompts, source text, settings, generated outputs, uploaded Book covers, Library items, Book content, and support messages that you choose to provide. We may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring URLs, request metadata, and security or usage events.

2

How We Use Information

We use account information to authenticate requests, keep your private Library available, share the daily Free allowance across your devices, apply Book credits and paid entitlements, enforce limits, and provide support.

We use operational and analytics information to run and secure the Service, diagnose issues, understand high-level product usage, improve features, prevent fraud, and measure reliability. We may process submitted content as needed to enforce our rule against NSFW stories and covers. We do not use your story prompts or generated work to train our own models or for unrelated advertising purposes.

3

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use first-party Better Auth cookies to maintain your signed-in session and protect authenticated requests. Signing out or clearing cookies may end the session, but it does not create a new daily allowance because allowance usage belongs to your account.

We may use analytics, measurement, or advertising technologies, including cookies, pixels, or similar tools provided by third-party partners. Depending on where you live, you may have choices about non-essential cookies through browser settings or applicable consent controls.

4

AI and Infrastructure Providers

Authentication is provided through Google OAuth. Story and plot generation and Book cover artwork are powered by OpenAI's API, and illustrated-story image generation is powered by Replicate. When you request an AI action, the necessary prompt, settings, or source content is sent to the relevant provider for processing under that provider's terms and privacy practices.

Before a user-controlled AI generation or rewrite begins, the relevant submitted prompt, plan, selected passage, or manually edited source content is sent to OpenAI for automated content moderation. Internally derived prompts, such as Book-cover artwork instructions produced from an already reviewed Book idea and plan, are not sent for a separate moderation request. If OpenAI flags the submitted content or the required check is unavailable, that AI action does not begin.

Account, session, allowance, site delivery, Library, and Book data rely on Cloudflare infrastructure. Structured records are stored in Cloudflare D1; generated illustrations, Book covers, and export assets may be stored in Cloudflare R2. We may use other infrastructure, analytics, advertising, or support providers that process limited information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms.

5

Creem Payments

Creem is our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Creem may process billing contact details, payment information, tax location, transaction status, refunds, chargebacks, support requests, and fraud-prevention information under its own buyer terms and privacy notice.

FablePilot receives and stores provider identifiers and billing ledger records needed to apply plans, credits, reversals, and customer-portal access. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

6

Data Retention and Private Storage

We retain account, session, allowance, billing-ledger, and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes. Expired sessions and operational records may be deleted or aggregated according to our retention practices.

Successful Story, illustrated Story, Plot, Book, and Story Collection generations are stored privately in My Library. Book Workspace stores content, revisions, generation jobs, covers, export assets, and credit records so you can resume and edit your own work. Library content is private by default and is not automatically published to a public gallery.

7

Your Stories, Covers, and Generated Content

Your prompts and generated work are processed to provide the action you requested. Do not submit passwords, financial account details, health information, confidential documents, or other sensitive personal information unless strictly necessary and you are comfortable sending it to the relevant providers.

Do not submit or request NSFW stories, explicit sexual content, or NSFW Book covers.

We may apply provider safety controls and prompt instructions to enforce this rule. These controls may block a request and do not guarantee that every unsuitable output will be detected.

8

Sharing and Legal Disclosures

We share information with service providers only as needed for authentication, generation, storage, payments, analytics, security, support, and other operations described here. We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to investigate fraud or abuse, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the Service subject to appropriate safeguards.

9

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may sign out, manage or cancel a subscription through Creem's Customer Portal, or delete individual Library items using available product controls.

To make a privacy request, email support@fablepilot.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. You may have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10

Children's Privacy

FablePilot is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.

11

Security and International Processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal mechanisms and safeguards.

12

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the updated policy with a revised effective date.
