Request Window
You may request a discretionary refund within 14 days of the initial purchase or subscription renewal. A request within this window is not an automatic guarantee of a refund. Eligibility is assessed under this policy, Paddle's applicable refund policy, the condition and use of the digital service, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
When a Refund May Be Available
We will review requests involving duplicate charges, a material defect or persistent service failure, a purchase that was materially different from its description, or an accidental purchase where the associated Book credits and paid exports have not been materially used.
Please include the purchase email, transaction or receipt details, purchase date, and a brief explanation. Do not send full card details.
Consumed Digital Services
Where permitted by law, we may decline or reduce a discretionary refund after Book credits have been materially consumed, AI generation has been delivered, or EPUB, DOCX, or KDP export files have been downloaded. We may also decline requests involving fraud, abuse, repeated purchases and refund requests, chargeback misuse, or a violation of our Terms.
If a refund is approved, related credits, subscription benefits, export access, and other entitlements may be removed or reversed. If granted credits were already used, the credit ledger may reflect that reversal.
Subscriptions and Cancellation
Plus and Pro renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Annual plans are charged once per year while credits are issued monthly. You may cancel at any time through the FablePilot billing portal or the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally leaves paid access active until the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation does not automatically refund a completed charge, and submitting a refund request does not automatically cancel future renewal. Complete both actions if you want a refund reviewed and do not want the subscription to renew.
How to Request a Refund
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and handles payment-related returns. Start from the manage-purchase link in your Paddle receipt or contact Paddle buyer support at paddle.net. You may also email support@fablepilot.com so we can help identify the relevant FablePilot account or service issue.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method according to Paddle's processing times and payment-network rules.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or replaces rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory cooling-off, withdrawal, defective-product, or consumer-guarantee rights may vary by location and take priority where applicable. Paddle may approve or require a refund under its policies or legal obligations even when this discretionary policy would not otherwise provide one.
